Compact your patches

I'm tired of having to download hundreds of megabytes, if not several gigs, every other time I start up this game. Learn to compact your patches. Yes, we all have broadband, but that doesn't mean you can go nuts like this.

Agreed. Especially with bad wifi, it takes forever install.

Implying the devs don't compress their updates and that you know anything about it.

This patch couldnt have contained all the bugs if it were anymore compact

I partly think that this patch may have introduced some of the smaller optimizations the devs posted about. Maybe they want to test some right off the bat because they are more sure of them or because they are easy to fix. Idk 463mb is a lot for the official hotfix notes.

Validating the game files after a patch is apparently so straneous on the computer its hard to do anything else other than looking at the launchpad while its working ... thats also very enjoyable

Yesterday, there had been some problems causing the game to crash. We recently released a fix that should have resolve the issue but if it continues, please submit in a support ticket.
