Infiltrators like hacking the Command Center's vehicle terminal. To defend against it, I like to deploy proxy mines. However, after a few minutes, they seem to phase through the floor of the CC and end up on the terrain below. May or may not be related, but deployed ANTs tend to sink into the terrain they're sitting on. If they get undeployed, they shoot a meter or two out of the ground before acting like nothing happened. In addition, the vehicle terminal is hard to use and to hack. Sometimes the game refuses to acknowledge the interaction, requiring you to either wait for it to click, or move outside the interaction range and back in to, hopefully, reset it.
It happens to be every single time I leave render range of the claymores/tank mines. Rarely, I can find them floating in the air 300 meters from where I originally placed them. I don't even have an explanation as to why. One time, I parked an ant on my command center. I left base render range and I came back, my ant was INSIDE the command center.
I've tested this on the PTS. Steps to reproduce: Place mines/proxies. Move a certain distance away from the deployables. The deployables will fall through the floor. Damning thing is, even before moving away, the mines sink into the floor slightly. The physics on these things are laughably loose.
I've never had this issue or seen it, except occasionally when a tank mine detonation flings nearby tank mines but doesn't destroy them. I wonder if this is a latency related issue? Like if you are lagging while placing them the game gets confused and they don't end up in the right spot, or end up with weird momentum?
