Hello, This is horrible to play on Cobalt they are many lag and it is possiblity to play correctly. I am not affected by level 3 but enemy are affected and for me it is bufff. I think really to say at all player do never play at planetside 2 on holyday + week end because server are overflood and bdg don't care about eu players.
Today just I played a bit, was normal for the most part. But apparently the weekend prime time was borked? I logged in yesterday for the recording of some tests, and horrified. First I was forbidden to spawn for several minutes. When it finally lagged through, I spawned on another continent under textures in unknown place. This happenned with Miller character too. When I finally made it into holodeck, it wouldn't work for me. Half the weapons were missing?! What is this After ~ten minutes and relogins, it worked fine, but I was surprised to see in suhc bad shaep.
I've not had any trouble on Cobalt this weekend or since but.....holodeck? Level 3? is this a PS4 post or have I got behind in my understanding of terminology again? (seriously, I'm not being sarcastic, keeping up with the game language is hard for me).
Level 3 is an internet service provider somewhere in amerikas of states united. Holodeck was me jokingly using intentionally wrong terminology for VR training to keep up with englishbad of the OP. Funny I thought
Since the beginning of July it is possible to play in good conditions due to the lag compensation system is a remake. And the problem with level 3 which lag some players. You have done a good work on the client that became stable, bug-free but the network and the server has a lot of bug. text made in google traslate.
I was getting some weird sh*t happening on Cobalt this evening. Connection was reading ~80ms but I was getting killed by guys who hadn't, on my screen, even raised their guns to shoot at me yet. In the same sort of vein, when firing at an enemy, it seemed to take the system much longer than usual to "catch up" on registering the hits. I remember mag-dumping within 10m and continuing to get the red "plinks" on the screen for some time after I'd let off the trigger. There was no one else using the Internet connection in my house at the time, so don't think it was traffic on my end.
This cycle over and over and over and over again and again..... Since 2012.... Excellent way to thin out populations, we should really give credit for all the hard work in this regard :slowclap:
Haven't even raised their guns? I can top that! I have seen people appear out of thin air! Sometimes I have been shot by purple lights, the gun and the guy holding it were delivered a second later.
Thats probably your CPU or the server being overloaded I got ine too: Emptied 80 Rounds EM-1 into one Terran guy and was like die!, 10secs later I got a kill
When you have better ping to East USA servers than Europeans... (tracert says Level3 was to blame, +100ms on that jump)
i have noticed a small decrease on cobalt early last week, been playing on miller since then only checking from time to time on cobalt but no change on the performance of the server it looks like it's gotten worse now
That why it is time to cry ... And stop give credit Ps 2 mass delog from Cobalt, i guest we play on i386 @12Mhz
for me it's better, the time i get to react if i get shot is better, i don't die after 2 to 4 bullets on my screen like on cobalt the last days and this can be my imagination but it feels like i kill faster on miller yes i know don't ask me how its possible maybe in the same data center but different servers, different hard disks, different connections i am not a expert in this stuff, i only know that miller plays better for me the last week
Got multiple ejections from the server during prime time a couple of nights ago, the weird hit registration problem seems to be somewhat alleviated for now though.
