[Suggestion] Cloak is too visible now

    People are complaining at how bad cloak is now and I notice the change. I don't mind the delay but people can still see you even when you are crouched and not moving, often from across the room. Its like every class has a working ability but infiltrator because people still see you usually. Complete visibility is fine and not overpowered in other FPS games, Team Fortress 2 for example. If someone has a problem with infiltrators, all they have to do is equip darklight. Also the deep operative implant needs some kind of visual indication that it is activated (different color cloak or something on the HUD). It seems like that implant is the only way playing infiltrator is useable now, except I have to watch a clock to make sure 12 seconds has passed to ensure it is working. Bad design. I hope the developers can make cloak harder to see again or at least find some middle ground between the old cloak visibility and the new one and also fix the deep operative implant so I can tell it is working.

    Funny thing is I have a harder time actually seeing cloaks from a distance now compared to before and they seemed to fix the dark light bug too I have to get really close to them on my javelin just for them to illuminate it’s funny how I’m being targeted for nerfs though and it never hits the hot fix posts yet the javelin has over 5 bugs that haven’t been fixed for years !

    You see an infiltrator first, you win every time. The infiltrator sees you first it MIGHT win half the time. That's not balance. That means they die about 75% of the time they encounter someone. They never worked in high population firefights (biolabs etc) and now they don't work in low population areas either because they still usually lose 1v1 fights. I've gotten so many easy kills on infiltrators who think they are hidden, crouching and stationary. Nobody plays infiltrator anymore.

    Some might say cloak was never meant to be used up close, it was meant for snipers repositioning at a distance. But that is a totally worthless ability if that is the intent because you can reposition anyway without dying just because you are far enough away to not be noticed or shot. Infiltrator might as well just be renamed to sniper because they always die up close, especially after the changes.

    Can we do a poll on who likes these cloak visibility changes?

    It is just utterly ridiculous. Playing against an Infil *feels* bad but that doesn't mean that infils were ever actually good. Infils are basically never used in competitive play because frankly the only way to be actually threatening on an Infil is to use the Chaos of the Battlefield or Clientside somebody with a CQC Bolter.

    Now that the cloak is effectively unusable the only players that can use Bolters in CQC can still justify to play the Class and they are the one that are actually the problem. Not the one SMG Infil that had to walk the long way to flank and not that one guy sitting on a Mountain 400m away. The patch basically kicked the ladder down for every new player while the veterans aren't even affected.

    Which tournaments and was the class by chance limited to only 1 per team or even outright banned for the event?
