Noticed the following in the patch notes. I'm wondering this can be applied to the way support exp is awarded instead of the current system. i.e. Give me residual kill exp for any kills shortly after someone resupplies at my ammo pack. The same for Vehicles I repair and people I heal/rezz. I like playing support, but I hate the way the current exploitable system creates caps. A system that awards for actually being a force multiplier rather than someone just "feeding" me exp would be more immersive IMO.
I like this idea, as a fellow support player(Mainly Engineer) I'd love to get more XP for some really boring work we do. Its not all run-n-gun like the other classes. Little fun fact, you can get deployment XP for kicking players out of your vehicle who then get a kill. I've had it happen on several occasions when I would kick someone who was doing poorly as a gunner or someone who just shot at nothing wasting ammo.
I was actually suggesting it as the only method to get exp rather than a way to get more exp. The current exp on demand system would disappear if I had my way. Though, depending on the circumstance & implementation, it might give more exp than the current system.
Figured I'd bump this. I hate the way you have to basically have a troll post to get any attention. I know bumps aren't really allowed, but I didn't really get much feedback prior. I think this is a good idea and re-enforces actual support from support classes vice the bowl of exp cereal it is now.
Edit: bumped wrong suggestion by accident. Decided I wasn't getting more feedback for this idea. I guess people don't care either way.
