Managed to log in after some 2-3 minutes. Game is unplayable thou. Ping never under 380sh and often above 500.
Same here. I've been able to log in one character to Miller so far, which took around 5 minutes waiting time - Logging in the other characters I have on the server simply times out right now, causing the game to close on its own without an error message of any kind. For the record, the game is notoriously temperamental on patch day and even more so on Miller and the other EU servers, so having a patch right on the eve of the All Access 2x double XP weekend of the month really, really hurts. I know it probably couldn't be in any other way due to it fixing some critical issues, but the whole "second class customer" feeling is definitely there, when the US servers aren't experiencing these problems at all. It feels like a big "Thanks for the money, now **** you" right about now with all the problems we've had since the merge.
Too bad, people are entitled to their opinions good or bad. And obviously with the problems they are going to be bad no matter how much you counter whine, whining about people "whining". The servers are a mess and no "If you want better support break out your wallet" is going to change it. If that was the case Woodman and Ceres wouldn't have been gone to fill up the EU servers as customers would be satisified. Welcome to reality buddy. Edit: Crashed again after not being able to log in, look at that! Glad to see the money I give supporting the development of this game is working!
I have the same problem. At daytime it works fine. But in the evening I am not able to log in. I am very frustrated about this. I opend a call, but get no answer. I wish I would not pay for an All Access Membership.
Remind me, how do I unsub again? Gonna spend my waiting time wisely and look for a more reliable game to play, this one is ok when it works, but it's so bleeding unreliable.
Well, it's been some weeks now since the merge and whilst I've waited patiently for things to get back to normal as I know these things happen, i'm now simply watching the login screen crash back to desktop every 5 minutes So.....hate to be 'that' guy......but membership cancelled. edit... straight after posting (and cancelling sub) it logged in.
I was ingame, everything was fine, after relog i can't get in again. thats sad.... i hope, one day soe will handle all the problems in that game...
Here I was returning to the game after 18 months away and even paid for membership for the 2X weekend. And now I'm stuck on 'Logging in...' At least SOE took my money without any problems
I'm struggling to understand how there can still be 'server problems' and issues with login 2 years into the life of the game. Surely all of this would have been perfected/sorted out by now? I'm currently sitting on the 'logging in' screen.
Because their patches are so bad, that they destroy the whole game with that. more patches, more troubbles. it would be a good idea to spend 100% energy in making that game stable with proofed patches, before thinking about new content to earn more money imho
I don't think it's the patches tbh. It's not been reliably good since the server merges. Performance can be ok for a while, on a less populated continent, but the login problems at peak times have really not gone away....
