Can someone explain to me why everyone loves the Gauss Saw?

Best thing about the Gauss SAW is that you can dish out a tremendous amount of punishment in a very short amount of time. Also, the slower rate of fire means you can output some nice gauss goodness for a pretty long time before your insanely long reload. Add some attachments to lower recoil, high velocity ammunition, and a good pair of sights, and you can slot just about anyone in a ridiculously short amount of time. However, it's not a pick-up-and-go gun: you have to work with it for a while to really learn how it works. Once you get the hang of it, though...it becomes the BFG of the NC. At least in my eyes, anyway.
