C4 question

    Possibly a dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer myself, if I buy C4 on my medic, will it be enabled on my other classes, or do you need to spend the certs per class? I've noticed that the optics are shared on the same gun between classes, but not sure about the C4...

    I can't confirm 100% but I'm about 90% sure it's class specific. (in other words, you'll have to recert for each class)

    Would be interesting if someone could check that.

    I know many things are definitely class- and weapon- specific (IE., buying a red dot site lets you equip/unequip it only for the one weapon you bought it for - each other weapon you want it on you have to buy it, again).

    However, I was surprised recently when I picked up the AS-16 shotgun when it was on sale for my engineer...and saw it appear as an option for the main gun on my LA, HA, and medic. And when I bought the extended clip on it...the gun got it in every class. I was stunned, really.

    Which does make me wonder about the C-4 question...I mean, obviously it wouldn't appear on every class, but for the classes that can carry it...???

    You unfortunately have to unlock c4 for each one of your classes, I regretfully tell you as a Light Assault player who wants c4 on my Engineer and Medic.

    I just hate how in VS the engineer and LA share every weapon, while the other classes don't share any besides the pistol.

    All factions are like that, not just the VS. Also, the Engineer and Heavy Assault share the Battle Rifle.

    That's not correct. The Heavy Assault uses LMG's which are a single category.

    Heavy Assault also uses the Battle Rifle, its a fact look it up.

    I meant, LA and Engi share ALL their weapons
    No other class can use LMG other than HA (which makes sense)
    No other class can use ARs other than Medic (doesn't make sense)
    I still haven't bothered to figure out what guns are BRs (no category, probably look them up on wiki later today)
    And I said VS because I hadn't played any of the other factions when I posted that.
    Yes I know Shotguns are shared by all classes ('cept MAX and Infil, which makes sense) (except NC HA shotty)
    Yes I realize that BRs are shared and now my previous statement about ALL is false.
    Yes I realize I sound like an ******* right now and I apologize, sort of just making this to sort out my thoughs >.<

    Anyway... yea... TO THE WIKI (also, what's up with the new VS "Chaingun", It has AoE damage I know, but if it doesn't go through targets it seems sorta useless.)

    Pretty certain only Universal: ________ sections are for all classes (only medical kits iirc), but I know my engineer's proximity mines didn't count for infiltrator.
