[Suggestion] Bullpup and special assault?

I know its been discussed before, but wth

I think bullpup configuration makes sense now (barrel length vs overall weapon length and recoil management) why wouldnt it make sense in the distant future? Since it seems like it could be an ideology about warfare, why not make it a cosmetic feature for the TR (makes more sense than NC imo)

Also, about adding the Rocklet Launcher and Thumper from PS1; does it make sense? Maybe not with all the choice of ammo, but having more options on the field would be nice (light assault with a handheld grenade launcher would be a blast i think... litterally)

    What do you guys think?

They have an NS model for the Rocklet Rifle but, as far as updates are concerned, the feature seemed to be on hold at the moment. My guess is that they realized that if they don't handle it properly, they'll have effectively released an "NS Striker."

Considering how disliked the UBGL was before it was reigned in, I don't have much confidence in the prospects of a "Light Assault Thumper." Or any sort of Thumper, really. There's too many players who already complain about explosive spam.

The NS-7 and MKV are all "bulldog" weapons.

I just think it's because this game is made by an American company, and the United States has some odd allergy to bulldog weapons. :p

I know right? Need a better country to live in.... one that does not fear building better firearms.... one where Donald Trump has no chance of leading it....

Not really. The TR faction trait has been the thing of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," when it comes to their guns. The NC makes a bit more sense because their Gauss weapons need the longer length for the magnetic coils to really take affect.

Technically, you can still own a bullpup in the US. If the barrel is under 16", you do need to pay a $200 tax stamp.

Yes, short-barreled rifles are legal to own. (With tax stamp and a lot of paperwork)

So it makes sense, that the 'Merica faction should have bullpups!

    (For a $200 price, of course:D )

(And yes, you can also own suppressors. And yes, $200 tax stamp required)

Oh no, I was talking about in the military sense. The US tends not to use military arms with a bullpup design.

I actually did have a .22LR in a bullpup configuration for awhile (then that got a little boring and I Volquartsenized the heck out of it). It was one of these:

But the trigger was terrible and you couldn't give it a bull barrel. Still legal even under California law though!

    Suppressors aren't. :(

Bullpups are not so much short barrelled as short (or missing) stock - to maintain barrel length for performance whilst making the overall weapon handier in close quarters

would love to see a cool NS bullpup assault rifle:

    make it a closerange specialist
    780 rpm
    143dmg @ 10m / 112dmg @ 60m
30 rounds in magazine / 180 rounds in pool
0.75x ADS (scr1nrusher will LOVE this!)
great hipfire accuracy but high horizontal recoil
