[Bug Report] No Fall Damage if an Elevator is Touched.

    I've already filled out a support ticket about this issue. Below is a copy of the support ticket that I have filled out.

    Think its intentional m8y, those things are fairly inconsistent in how they deliver you to your destination...you can fall off pretty easy. I asume they made it this way as to avoid needless suicides. My advice is use it to your advantage!

    True, however we we're using it to throw ourselves far from its destination and off the top of a biolab away from the building underneath which had it.

    Working as intended, been like that since beta. Also you can achieve the same thing by driving an ATV on the warpgate roof and launching to the other side of the continent, which has also been in since beta.

    The radius of the reduced damage should be very small around the elevator. Your velocity resets to normal the further away you move from the elevator yet you still take no damage.

    Same deal with jump pads - you can miss and "slide" off surfaces and take no damage sometimes. If you are a light assault, you can jet mid jump and deliver yourself to new areas without taking damage.

    Not sure if they will be able to get what you want. In beta, the sudden increase in velocity used to mean you took a **** ton of damage as your feet brushed across something. It was also pretty inconsistent with regards to the landing.
