Once you activate your shield you usually can't fire after it's disabled, even if you change classes. Fairly straight forward, and not exactly something I could easily demonstrate with a video. Unless you want me to record myself standing around doing nothing.
Teh lulz. Bug confirmed. Also to note that the same bug seems to cause the shield to be placed on the side* of the MAX. Reloading while popping shield has caused both of these issues for me.
