That thing is so slow that its meaningless for anything but an emergancy repair for MAXes. It could easily have its rate trippled and give more joy to the game.
I agree. So long as they don't stack the AOE effect around the outside of the vehicle, toss medics a bone on Triage. (Still the worst 1,350 certs I ever spent. )
What i find wierd is that a medic cant rep a max, but can if its gets into a vehicle with them? Whats going on inside that vehicle, thats what id like to know. Since i never see anyone using it, id say giv it a buff, no1 will notice anyways.
Triage is pretty useless since you have to be in a vehicle to even use it. And you should be an engineer if you are in a vehicle, so triage doesn't do any good there. I know this wouldn't be the best for supporting the team, but what if triage were to passively heal yourself? It would work just like biolab passive regeneration, but at the speed of the current triage? The healing others would have to be reduced, lest it be too powerful. This would make medics a lot stronger, but there's already too many heavies and not enough support(in my opinion), maybe this would get more people to play medic? P.S. I personally don't 100% agree with my idea, I'm just brainstorming, what do you guys think about it?
I find Triage to be situationally useful - When providing AMS support, and my armor Sundy comes under fire... I'll swap to medic, toss down a shield bubble, and hop back into the drivers seat to support the repairing engies. I have not gotten Triage to work when im in my flash, however - does anyone know if this was intended? I frequently run stealth / scout flashes from building interiors, i'd love to be able to put both my shield aura / triage field around those covering entrances / exits.
Shield regen do more work then maxed triage, if you really want to help, then get out and heal with ability - it works better and gives more XP. Current triage is more cosmetic stuff, that highlights when you near vehicle.
I can't heal 3-4 engies at once when i'm under fire myself, nor the half dozen others that are usually doing AI / AV in the vicinity - I do more healing with maxed triage, and shield bubble helps regen when they can't spare time to re-supply. This is, however, the only really useful triage-related scenario i've found it useful in. It needs a buff quite badly, yes - i'm just sharing how I use it.
I like it in Harassers, keeps your MAX alive, and your engi while he's repping you. If you're 2/3, double engi is still better.
Needs buffed so bad I forget it even exists. (I think a lot of people do.) On a BR60 char I think i've received maybe 1 exp event from Triage ever just in the course of natural game play. I bought the first level of it since it's passive but never bothered to waste certs "tricking it out." It would be nice if it worked as sort of a smaller field of heal around the medic (besides the regular medic group regen ability) even outside of vehicles on people no longer taking damage. Still would need the heal rate buffed, but anything this cert tree can get would help. Would sort of give AoE heal compensation to medics who run the shield regenerator instead of the standard AoE heal ability.
It would be nice if they increase the AOE healing field and doubled/tripled the heal rate. Then at least it would be useful for defending sundies. Maybe even give it a instant revive feature (like a revive grenade) that will revive dead allies within proximity to the vehicle you are in.
triage is pure bonus. you give up nothing equipping triage. there is not a limit to the certs you can earn, thus the limiting factors are slots, and triage doesnt take one up. its a small bonus, sure, saving time when everyone piles into the sundy instead of healing them before or after, but instead during transport, but it is effectively a free bonus. if you want triage to be really powerful/usefull instead of a small niche boost, it would likely need a real cost associated with it, such as being suit slot. just food for thought there
Never even thought about spending a single cert in it. Ever. On any character. So yes, i agree, it needs to be changed.
It's not an AOE heal, it's a passenger heal, but yeah that counts for external seats and could become useful, just not as-is. Buffing to 15% I think would be reasonable, if not reworked into something more flexible.
Ah whoops, yeah I see ingame it says 5 meters. It's not very useful regardless... Maybe if it did stack, and had upgradable radius.
