I really enjoyed the vehicle. It would allow for smooth deployment of a mbt squad from the warpgate. I dont see any reason why not to bring this vehicle back. If not give the Valkyire an option to forego troops to carry a land vehicle.
I think they are building a large ship right now. I saw it in the last dev stream, the model is the ship that floats above when the continent is locked. They also said that each faction will need to collect resources in some way to summon that ship. Don't know if it functions the same as the lodestar though...
Not really, lodestar was a plane that could carry almost any single land vehicle. It might have had a single side seat spot for a small gun, but I don't recall for sure.
It was great fun...I used to drop my bus on top of amp stations, activate the EMP blowing up about 20 enemy mines in one large explosion. Then I'd drive off the roof and away from the base honking my horn. The back of the bus always looked like swiss cheese when driving in the lodestar to do it all over again.
And just think of the fun when attacking a Bio lad there's a Locked down HESH Prowler with an ammo sundie next to it inside the base.
I forget how it went...something like, "your vehicle is in an unauthorized location and will be deconstructed in 5 seconds".
