You can see factions finally understanding that to attack the stronger one is a better option than to attack the weaker one. Making the alert results be less pop dependent than they used to be I think.
  2. Pac1

I have never seen TR having over 50% pop let alone 70%. For sure if TR would have that kind of number they would be visible on the graph. Yes the alert continent might have more TR but that's not 4th faction, it's just VS & NC not participating the alert. Server population stays quite even and as you can see from graphs TR has lowest pop about 90% of the time.

How is the data that is directly collected from SOE API subjective? It's not a questionnaire presented to randomly selected people, it's pulled directly from SOE servers. If you feel that the data is somehow incorrect feel free to present your own with the sources. So far Sirisian's site is by far the best source of information regarding server populations. It's not perfect but if you have any better source please share with us.

Oh really? I played with/against the dude for years. Never once did I see him do anything even slightly suspicious. So how was he hacking or are you just jumping on the hackusation bandwagon again?

You're ignorant beyond the point of being laughable.
  4. Tasogie

I would expect this silly schoolyard rudeness from one of his friends, please do not waste my time again.

So after reading a few Brigs threads of late, it seems it is indeed alive, alive with the sounds of b*tthurt. But that's ok, Australia was founded as a prison colony, so they should be used to that sort of thing...

Yea hes one of those guys that footzergs up from the base of the crown while you're sitting in a magrider above him, he respawns like upto 10 times because he's so stubborn...each time getting more enraged as you kill him out of "nowhere"... I think hes so bad he doesn't even know there is a Y axis on his mouse...thats if hes even using a mouse...

    Yup, in a nutshell.

Ever heard of Data mining? I explained it pretty well in my original post. Its subjective and biased. Hourly rates are great for sales, for player population not so much.

This should explain it better to you. Enjoy your "accurate" "data" and please keep quoting it as proof.

Late last night I saw TR getting accused of winning because of 4th faction yet again.

    World pops at the time:

    TR - 28%
    NC - 33%
    VS - 39%

That was with 15 minutes of the alert remaining, with us guaranteed to win with 2 Amp Stations to 1. By the time the alert finished we'd pretty much caught up to the NC because of the 4th faction, but it's hardly us winning because of them.

What you claimed was that "data is subjective when collected" and gave example of drawing world-wide conclusions of questionnaire made to 10 or 100 people. We are not dealing with questionnaires here, we are dealing with data that comes directly from SOE. If that is not "accurate enough" for you then I think it is simply impossible to provide data that satisfies your criteria. You also haven't provided anything to back your claims, you just claimed that TR pop "booms to 70-80%" without any evidence which is in huge conflict with SOE numbers.

Since you refuse the data pulled from SOE and don't provide anything by yourself I don't think there's much for us to discuss any more.

Ok, Imagine if the police/courts worked like that. They check the CCTV once and hour and check if someone has committed a crime against you, if they dont catch them in that minute per hour there is no evidence of your claim. So if you werent recording yourself then you have to waste your time debating someone who claims it never happened.

I agree the SOE data is a good estimate, but it does miss the times their pop would spike right at the end of alerts due to the time delay. This happened for well over 2 months so I doubt you didnt see it.

As for my data or evidence: My steam screenshots got deleted when I formatted my computer, Im pretty sure I have a few videos from back then when TR had 36-40% world pop (and 60-70% cont pop every alert) right after GU08-GU10, but yeah you obviously dont play when I do otherwise you wouldnt waste your time trolling off subject like this.

I was saying TR have 4 out of the top 5 outfits on the server, but that they still have a lot of noobs and 4th faction. Then you went on some TR defence rant about server pops and that not being 4th faction. Then I debated the fact your evidence couldn't possibly account for 4th faction alert activity as it lacks detail, then you asked me to provide evidence to the contrary. why?

So whatever man, good talk... next time please dont respond.

That absolutely did happen - was shortly after the Warpgate rotation. TR were coming here to complain that NC were sporting population numbers similar to these for about a month leading up to that rotation.

The alerts that span across all continents somewhat alleviate the massive population imbalances that can occur.
  13. Pac1

Yes, it miss spikes because it tracks how many players were logged in during one hour. We all know that people will log in to winning faction no matter if it's TR, NC or VS.

I remember seeing TR spiking 38% world pop at the end of alert when TR had north gate on Indar. But that was just a spike caused by alert. From graphs you can see that overall population was really balanced during end of May and early June. If you compare that period to current balance or balance before May you can see that was the most balanced period.

The problem here is the claim of TR having the 4th faction. If TR really has 4th faction then why do they have lowest server pop about 90% of the time currently? Population spikes at the end of alerts are not evidence of one faction having 4th faction, those same spikes happens no matter who wins the alert.
  14. TheFullCologne

TR Briggs does not have 4th faction... albeit only when winning alerts where people log in to get the xp. the 4th faction belongs to whoever has arguably the best weapon/tool currently (zoe as 1 example, where we saw vs pops rise)

  15. Pac1

Please check the graphs again, during late May and early June populations were really well balanced. Population differences between factions were small and both highest & lowest pop factions were constantly changing. Before and after that period TR had lowest pop at least 90% of the time and highest pop faction also tends to be the same majority of the time.

Trouble on briggs is TR using BR5-10 alts to grief everyone in spawns when they tank zerg it (as they always do) along with blowing our sunderers. NC do it too but not as often. NC has more of an issue with hackers like P..
  17. MykeMichail

Yeah. Why zerg with the TR at Quartz Ridge when you can get zerged by TROL somewhere else on the map.
  18. Tasogie

Briggs in a nutshell every night

TR zergs with 20 Mossies, an 20-30 tanks, yells an screams how sad Vanu are because the 5 guys protecting Q ridge could not kill them all.
Vanu gears up a Zerg, an TR vanishes, then yells abuse an says how Vanu always zerg an cant do anything els.
NC sits at Crown an doesn't go anywhere....
  19. Purg

I don't need to check the graphs when I was playing NC and seeing the TR pop at 40%+ when I logged in at prime time at night after they got their North Warpgate back. Was decided in our platoon not to participate in alerts because the TR pop would be 60%+ on a continent during those alerts. It was a standing joke when someone would log in and remark about the TR pop migrating back to the North.
  20. SgtBreastroker

Precisely. We offer a better quality fight than the mindless TR.
