Some of the best fights occurred on Northern Indar in the past few hours, even though NC were getting their s*** pushed in, the mid-long range armour battles were insane as was the zerg v zerg infantry fights in outposts. AA is awesomely balanced compared to before (maxes aren't dominating esfs whilst lightnings are doing their job finally, as we have seen a huge increase of their numbers across the factions). no complaints with resources, if you value your vehicle you can survive longer and get more kills. sometimes u spawn and you get c4d immediately, unlucky, but it doesnt ALWAYS happen... very rarely. gu11 was a positive update imo. keep working and keep fighting!

ps: those damn av turrets man... add timer so they cant insta-place it after its gone!

    just my 2 cents ;D

There have always been large fights and Briggs was never dead. If you're looking for spectacular fights go fight in VS territory so that you encounter TROL. You stand to gain nothing by simply zerging with the TR around Quartz Ridge and Indar Excavation.

Look forward to seeing you ingame. ;)

NS Refinery was a hard fought battle. Ultimately the strength of TROL won out. Those sorts of battles is why I enjoy playing Planetside 2.

it wasnt dead but i feel like its more alive than in the past few months. maybe because its a sunday night.. still good!
i cant remember what quartz looks like anymore ahah strikers ewww

Just quietly, suck it Briggs NC and VS. Couldn't take Allatum from us that last alert. War on 2 fronts, no biggie because there's no quit in a TR soldie :D

Briggs TR players are the most mindless players I've ever come across. For that reason it is why you excel in Bio Lab alerts because mindless players running around Bio Labs is far more efficient than an organized platoon. It also doesn't help that you have millions of Fracture maxes blasting away at everything.

I didn't play for most of the alert but gg I guess, got good certs out of it.

Yes I just got back into Planetside and the fights on Briggs are getting me hooked again! Very fun gameplay at the moment I can't seem to log out.

Oh don't be upset. We have our mindless zergfits, same as VS and (to a lesser degree) NC. Still, we punch way harder than we have any right to. We pushed out against 3:1 odds and kept you out for the better part of 2 hours, while you guys ignored each other and focused Allatum. Not too bothered about the "mindless players" comment, because RDBK, IIW, IDGA, 70XS and JUGA would demonstrate otherwise. VS have...GAB, ?,?. Feel free to fill the blanks :D

every faction has their ups and downs during the day..

TCFB, TAW8 though they have been far less active of late. Some of TROL guys could do well tactically, but it appears they are too busy herding the zerg most of the time.
  11. Dingus148

TAW8...seen them around but haven't really formed an opinion. Don't even know who TCFB are. Whatever. Lol we all know Briggs was never dead, TR issues a further challenge to the NC and VS. Come at us.

(But not exclusively plz, we've been getting hammered by the both of you and we're generally under pop ahahah)
  12. theholeyone

For TCFB, look up, they're known (internally at least) for being our flying aces. And yeh, Briggs was never dead, though you might think that way if you went to the regions of notIndar.

Welcome to another forum thread about briggs. Where people either proclaim they have the largest *****, or kiss each other's *****. Like every other briggs thread.
Edit: i am disappoint by the censorship.

By the way if u think more organised outfits is a good thing, you are wrong. The listed tr outfits can only manage to field 1-2 squads at best. Severely undermanned. And we spend more time arguing and squabbling because everyone has an opinion. While trol drops 4 full gals with rocketpod escorts and tank column on your 2 squad platoon.

Factions only need 1 outfit and Briggs VS has the best organisation for this game: massively ridiculous numbers. Its a zergy game and the side with higher pop usually wins. Skill has nothing to do with the game since all sides have an equal proportion of skilled players.

Then why has TR probably won the most alerts over the last month or two, despite often having the lowest population since the last warpgate switch? Note that I had no net connection for the 6 days so have no idea what was going on during that period.

Now, to some extent I myself have wondered sometimes whether we do have too many small/medium sized outfits, and whether a couple of them could do with joining together to form 2 or 3 medium sized instead of 6 or 7 smaller outfits. But who would merge into who? Many of those outfits have been around since launch or soon after, and they wouldn't want to lose their name and fit in with a new command structure that they might not agree with at times. And quite frankly, the status quo has been working quite well for the last month or two.

TROL may be incredibly hard to beat face to face, but half of the time it's quite easy to flank them and end up winning the alert. I know, because JUGA have been the ones doing it. Note - I did say 'half of the time'. It certainly doesn't always work, and we've had our fair share of being *****-slapped by a force five times greater than ours. Of course, that means we're taking up a significant portion of your forces and helping take some pressure off the front line.

I remember there was an organized TR outfit that steamrolled us Vanu at an amp station somewhere. They had sundies up everywhere and players guarding tunnel exits. Then again, TROL wasn't on at the time...

HELL YEAH! That fight was an absolute *****, but we held out on those bastards!

Incidentally, Briggs VS players are the most underhanded players, with little honour and even less skill, constantly relying on population and their OP flavours of the month to get things done.
  20. SgtBreastroker

TR received a massive population boost out of nowhere since getting the north warpgate and often in alerts it is a contest of who can attract the 4th faction first. Everyone knows near the end of alerts the winning faction spikes up to 45% world population and up to 80% continent population on the specific continent (Unless it is Indar).

There's no flanking at all. All I see in an alert where capping territories is involved (only applies to Esamir and Amerish) is a giant ghost capping fest. At any given time I can see us losing 3-4 territories with no enemies and no allies detected at said base.
