i hate when people say "you play the game for fun!" well no sh8t sherlock thats what games are for in the first place you dont think i accidently forgot that after playing for 40 days, im saying this sh8t isnt fun anymore, its structure is too loose, unrewarding and pointless.

Sorry but in a game where extra BR's don't make you stronger (apart from certs) so that players are fair and so that even a BR1 has a chance, what were you expecting to get as a BR 100? Anything given is an unfair advantage, I'd prefer if they made up to BR500 and just let people keep going, you know there will always be people that want to have the highest BR so it would keep them competing against each other.

A new cert tree maybe. Anything. No increasing the BR is pointless too, the problem still stands. No one will ever bother if theres such a rediculous level cap that gets you NOTHING.

It's an MMOFPS, there is no point or underlying reason for your existence, other than to kill people. Congratulations on being BR100, you win! But in this game, that means exactly squat. Maybe at some point they'll make it mean something, but right now, not so much.

When I first started playing this game I didn't think about it much, then when I did start thinking about it, I realized that there is no point to this game other than to kill other players, in whatever way and flavor you like doing it most. That's not what made me quit though, the piss poor quality and the number of times the game crashes is what drove me elsewhere.

This game would already be dead if there wasn't a progression system like battle ranks. There's no metagame so ranking up is one of the things keeping players in the game, they feel SOME sort of accomplishment.

Sure you could argue that we're here to have fun and kill people, but there's only so many times you can kill people before the fun factor disappears. Ranking up is one of the reasons I'm still here after 30k kills.

It's all a timesink anyway though, so if you're enjoying it, great, that's what its all about. I would probably still be having fun with it, if I could play it for any length of time without it crashing entirely.

There are no "other first person shooters" that are of the same kind as Planetside. Period.

Playing counter-strike or any other Arena-type FPS does not compare to a Sandbox-type FPS...

Go play Planetside 1 and get CR5..that'll keep you busy for awhile lol assuming you didn't play the first

9.9 kdr I bet all you do is hop into a esf look for unsuspecting tanks or infantry and kill them, then when that fails you either snipe with your prowler or with the av turret. Maybe you can try an actually play the game.
