Currently i am looking for the best lmg for nc and tr ha for a cqc-mid range build(on my vs i use the orion), to use those lmg's for my own builds, also i run mostly with adrenaline .
NC: Anchor TR: T9 or MSWR, your choice. I go with MSWR. These are orion "equivalent" even if they don't get the .75 multiplier.
The t9 is a wonderful gun. However if you ever find yourself in a fire fight in a open field the rhino is extremely accurate and lethal.
Do you even read bro? SAW isn't CQC-midrange gun. It's a mid-long range gun. Its low RoF and hipfire accuracy are huge downsides for CQC. The options are: NC: Option 1: GD-22S (167 dmg / 577 RPM) - Pros: el cheapo at 100 certs, decent hipfire, fast short reload, access to Reflex 2X - Cons: no access to ALS or SPA Option 2: LA1 Anchor (167 dmg / 600 RPM) - Pros: decent hipfire, access to ALS and SPA, excellent damage output - Cons: 1000 certs, no access to Reflex 2X I didn't include the EM1 because being a 143/652 weapon, it loses to Anchor's damage output quite easily and it just doesn't have enough pros to make it worth that trade. TR: MSW-R (143 dmg / 750 RPM) - Pros: cheap at 100 certs, same damage/rof as Orion, decent hipfire, access to ALS and SPA (unlike Orion), also has slightly faster reload than Orion but not as fast as GD-22S - Cons: no access to Reflex 2X It's really the only game in town for TR. Some swear by the T9 Carv which is also 143/750, but without access to ALS and SPA and much worse hipfire, it's an overall performer with large magazine, not a CQC specialized gun. Finally there's always the NS-15M which you can kit out for CQC with a laser sight and SPA. Since you're used to Orion's 0.75 ADS movement speed, you might find the NS-15M more to your liking than any NC or TR LMG. In terms of pure damage output though, Anchor and MSW-R are both easily better. The NS-15M is only 143/625, not even 652.
If you're starting newish NC and TR characters just run the SAW and CARV until you max out adrenaline shield, nanoweave, and your medkits. The SAW and CARV, like the Orion, both have the lowest TTK in their respective classes so they're pretty good at close/mid ranges. Unlike the Orion, however, they actually have sidegrades. The Anchor is a very good close/mid choice because the higher base TTK comes with soft point and less overkill if you finish people with a headshot, plus a better recoil pattern for dumping your whole clip instead of just bursting. The MSW-R is a good sidegrade from the CARV for similar reasons, it's the only 750RPM LMG with soft point and its recoil profile is easier to deal with, especially during sustained fire.
For open field long range? I don't know. I've never been able to handle the recoil with a 3.4x/4x scope.
TMG-50's recoil is easy, especially with comp & fore grip. With RoF lower than Rhino and lower first shot recoil, it's just easier
Strange its really easy, and i use 4x scope. Rhino is not bad but its just like ns15 (decent) u want a high dmg wep on long ranges like tmg 50.
I'm gonna be honest I have never even trialed the TMG. I mainly do medic and my HA play is limited to air control and skirmishing while keeping an eye out for incoming air.
I disagree; the T32 Bull is not only better at everything except velocity it also has the lowest recoil I've seen in a TR gun.
You have to switch to semi auto or it's just pointless. This is my long range loadout: TMG 50 with 3.4 optic, HVA, compensator, and forward grip. Stiker Munitions Pouch 3 I always click fire group selection twice when I pull it. It's more of a side arm anyway =P Usually I pull this because I have great line of sight on vehicles that need a spanking. Switch to the TMG to pick people off as needed.
