   This started happening to me yesterday, i have checked for file corruption, tried verifying the ps2, tried deleting the battleye folders, tried reinstalling game, booting up multiple times, ive tried changing the file (making old one BACKUP) still same error, i have everything approved or allowed though the firewall. But now ive hit the wall, i cant think anything else that would work.

   seems that nothing helps this point, more likely have to do clean install of windows
