Holy ****, balance this game already. How long has it been. Things as dumb as the knife still OP? No wonder I can never keep playing this game for christ sake.
The knife isn't overpowered. Your situational awareness is underpowered. At least this isn't Battlefield 1 where you get rammed in the gut with a bayonet every other second (no hate; BF1 looks epicsauce).
The knife isn't overpowered in itself, it's the quick knife mechanics. They're heavily abused in the game, and that is only made worse with scripts which do this action automatically to targets within range... or rebinding the action to a very convenient key. Personally, I think the knives should be equip-only, but to compensate they should be buffed in movement speed increases, and maybe attack speed or damage.
