Is there any downside to the 1x reflex sight? I ask because I recently found out that the forward grip attachment reduces equip time and I never knew that because the description doesn't say that. I wish attachment descriptions would give FULL disclosure, instead of some generic description that doesn't really give any data.
The only sights that have a "downside" are the IR, which is range limited and has a warmup time, and also the scopes greater than 4x when on bolt action sniper rifles which give sway (though this depends on rifle as well I think, since the low power ones like the ghost can get 4x and no sway).
A few of the dot sights are poorly calibrated. Your bullets wont hit the mark at certain (close) ranges. Bug or Intended, i really dont care.
Not the VS irons, no. I find them to be an annoying eye swore that just gets in the way. VS 1x 2x are great designs though, completely open holograms Typically if my enemy is close enough for 1x, then i just hipfire... beyond that? NV or 3.4x
Oddly enough, the Vanu have the narrowest iron sights, making them the easiest to work with overall. However, the bright tip dots and muzzle flash make them almost impossible to use at night. The TR use square shaped ones, but they're really thick, and usually obscure the target. The NC ones I find most people are comfortable with. They have a ring with a notch cut out on the top, and the post tapers slightly.
the bullet always goes to the middle of the screen. the non-overlay scopes (1x-4x except IRNV) however sway like crazy when you move. atleast they fixed the gun hitting you in the face and putting the sight over your screen when jumping. by removing jump ADS (they also fixed the IRNV scope beeing the only one that shot where you aimed. by adding scopesway)
