AT mines very big.....why?

    They WERE large enough to see if you were paying attention.

    Prior to the nerf, my vehicles had been destroyed in-transist maybe 4 times tops. Hardly a huge problem that needed to be rectified.

    i was going to cert mine guard one day on all my vehicles as i was fed up driving on mines

    then they introduced large pizzas to the game... and i can now safely circumvent these

    I couldn't never spot them before, I can't ever miss them now. Can't we have something in between?
    I'm saing that as a dedicated tanker, give those guys the mines that have actually a change to kill something other than blind people.

    I saw good use of the tank mines just recently on my home server Miller. I joined along with a couple of platoons of my Vanu brothers pushing back the TR as they tried to warpgate us on Esamir.

    We pushed and obtained some territory back whilst the TR Platoons fell back and lay a minefield. As we got closer to the next objective the mines all popped into view causing all our Vanu armour and AMS's to stop. We now had to deal with TR platoons ready and opening fire on us from a hill top & the base,and taking out the minefield.

    We simply couldn't just rush in armour blazing flashes buzzing to flush the TR out from their hill cover. It not easy making sure all the mines were taken out under fire which caused all the armour,AMS & flashes to slow down and keep an eye on the ground and the other on the battle whilst closing in. A few Vanu vehicles still took a hit from mines despite knowing they were there as attention in battle is easily diverted.

    With these new Cake Mines, I no longer get ANY kills at all for using the tank mines as MINES because every blind person and their blind cat can see these mines from at least 30 meters away. Now I'm forced to use them as improvised C4 even though the 1 C4 rocket combo is far more economical.

    Traverse. There is a line of sunderers moving in. I hid on the roof of the bridge and drop a mine in the midst of the sunderers. Some one blows it up immediately before it has time to arm.

    If they are making mines this big, I think we should have the option to bury these mines.

    If we go by the previous nerf monger stuffs, PS2 mines should work like pre-WWII mines and thus be buried undergound and not used as frizbees of death (even though modern mines are more than capable of that)

    Cake mines, give us the ability to bury them save for a little small button in the ground. Takes however long the peeps need for it to be balanced.

    Mines are USELESS. Not only the huge size but WHY does the frienly icon have to appear only when practically right next to them? This leads to teammates destroying my mines because they can't see the icons and don't like taking chances by driving over them. Pffffff.

    Totally agree with "TomoB" above. Teamates are destroying the mines way more then the enemy!!!!

    I freely admit to accidentally destroying friendly mines. It really needs to be easier to distinguish between them.

    If they are gonna stay as noticeable as they are now, they need to be immune to stray bullets and aoe damage.
