As well as the other problems, crap flying everywhere.

    Hi
I have an intel i7 920, and have no manner of play since GU2...

I tried changing graphic settings, parking and unparking cpu cores... yesterday I turned off the "speedbost" option in bios, and it seems to be barely useful :-/ Have the feeling of smoother gameplay too, but troubles keep being there i think mainly when enemy vehicles are around.

Last night some of squad members say me if i had speed hack, God! not only can't play decently after GU2 i am being accused now...
It seems SOE won't roll back GU2... at least fix or identify these errors soon!!

    sorry for bad english guys

PD: at least, my game statistics can save my "honor", can't they? ;)
  2. Dony Freaky

Of course not. They proclaim it as "BIGGEST AND BEST GAME UPDATE YET"... yeh in my a**.

there is a hint of solution. read the thread. read my posts.
I had the issue and i fixed it.

    http://www.overclock.net/t/538439/guide-to-overclocking-the-core-i7-920-or-930-to-4-0ghz

i followed this guide to up my cpu...

disable all power saving ****. "spread" and all that.
EIST – Enhanced intel speedstep technology
C1E – Another intel power saving technology. Disable while overclocking, enable afterwards.

try disable these. and change your cpu from AUTO to a hard set value.

I cant stress more. Get CPUZ, check if your "CORE SPEED" is changing randomly when you're playing.

keep in mind when SOE fix this issue via an update, you may want to revert your changes...

Well playing for almost four hours before I begin to see the old problems appear is not possible here after last update.

Last night I that's how long it took for the problems to surface. Tonight after the latest hotfix I can barely get to 2 hours before I notice the minimap begin to get the jitters.

A simple log out, exit launcher, and a restart fixes it for me again. Sorry to hear some of you still can't get pleasant play, I'm not trying to rub your noses in it, merely to keep data points coming for SOE.

Latest patch actually seemed to reduce my FPS drops near Amp stations though, heavy fight in one and I was running mid 30's to high 20's rather than low 20's to mid 20's.

I have an ASUS mobo and the EPU-6 solution didnt seem to have any effect. However it seems to have stopped after I disabled speedstep and fixed my clock multiplier as others have suggested.

Been how many weeks now since Update 2 and I still haven't been able to play.

Logged in tonight, hot dropped down on a Biolab, shotgunned a guy 5 times to the back and nothing registered, he turned and shot me and nothing registered, then I tossed a nade and ran then suddenly I was dead...
Spawned in the lab, started fighting annnnnnd bullets were taking 2-3 seconds to register...eventually died..
Spawned again outside the biolab as a Burster MAX and...well this is what I encountered, and this (Don't mind the horrible shooting)

I ran CPUz and I did noticed my core speed fluxing. I guess this is a win7 feature to clocks according to need. I manually set my clock speed and that seemed to fix everything so far. I run stock settings as well but sometimes your mobo has a weird setting for "Stock".

Ok, so today I played a bit on Amerish and Esamir, to see if this would happen to me there. Both of them have almost no fighting going on usually so I figured it'd be the best place to test it.

The first I went to Amerish for around 30 mins, got bored and headed back to Indar, and was able to stay on for 2+ hours without it happening.

The second time I went straight to Indar, and it happened very quickly.

Third time I went to Esamir, stayed for 30 or so mins again, then back to Indar...happened not long after I got into a fight.

Fourth I was at Amerish only, and was fine until I was hold up in a base with mossies rocket podding at me. Then it happened again.

No idea if this is helpful, thought i'd throw it out there.

So I'm going to guess we'll just never see a fix for this? Sadly Overclocking/Underclocking/Stock Clocking is not an option for me, seeing as I have a manufacture PC (Gateway). Never had issues before GU2. And since my AMD Phenom II 810 X4 runs a whopping 1Mhz less than it should (2599Mhz/2600Mhz), I'm not allowed to play a game that I've invested quite a bit of money on?

I sure hope a fix comes out soon, I've already taken to trying to find a file or setting to fix this myself, otherwise, I guess the small majority that don't have homegrown PCs are screwed. Since my BIOS are locked, and I've already done everything else to ensure my CPU runs at 100% clock.

I am also having this problem, and I am very sad about this. I might post some footage up of it later, but it isn't anything you haven't seen in the last few videos.

So, a week has passed and still no fix. Also wanted to mention that loading takes longer than before GU02. When starting my 10min gaming session I see through walls and flickering just after loading is finished and before stepping out of spawnbooth. This fixes itself in about 5 seconds. After that I can play for about 10 minutes without any problems until this "warping" and "not registering hits" starts.
  12. Smoothshot

Last night played fine with no issues except some lower fps in highly populated fights.

This morning post server "maintenance" am having this bug. Mini-map blinking all over, enemy and friendly players blinking in and out from as close as 10 feet away, etc. Game is now completely unplayable.

It is so irritating to have great performance one day and then absolute **** the next. At this point calling things in Beta status is a too much of a compliment.

I got the solution.Unsub-check game everyday if they fix it-resub. :D

Just wanted to toss my hat into this forum so SOE knows it has another guy waiting for this issue to be fixed. Typical story to every one else thus far. Game worked fine for months, no lag, no issues -> patch -> guys/vehicles flying/jittering, cant shoot anyone (can still get shot though), warning messages that aren't applicable to my location, in short the game is unplayable. No di8fference between Indar/Esamir, happens on both, adjusted graphics settings, no difference again.

Hopefully this gets looked at soon, I have paid for in game cred etc. First time I have ever done that for a free to play game because I really appreciated the product.

I got the exact same thing; guys/vehicles flying/jittering after a couple of minutes playing and then the game just freezes and I have to force close it via CTR ALT DEL. Reinstalled the game, didn't work...
  16. Tezma

This is whats happening to me after 2 hours of game play.
I first though mabye my computer was overheating. But I installed some software like Coretemp, and nothing. normal temps.

I hope this gets fixed pronto ----- TONTO!
  17. Aurcius

Though I'm not getting the problem to the same severity of others, I do frequently see players warping and flickering. I also had an issue where I was the gunner on a Prowler, and on my screen we were stationary, but the driver was over 3 kilometres away in a biolab  (I could see the biolab capture points on the UI). And I could see the driver shooting, and getting kills but on my screen the shells were just hitting the ground and there was nobody around... When I exited the tank, it disappeared on my screen entirely.

I see a lot of people here talking about how Overclocking and Turbo may cause this.. I have an i7-2600k at stock speeds (3.4GHz), with Turbo to 3.8GHz, which is useful for a game that makes limited use of multiple threads. I get ~ 25-30 fps in some bigger battles, and I worry that without turbo this will drop to unplayable levels.
  18. ShortBus

I certainly hope they get a fix for this, and soon. It's unplayable with the crashes every 20 minutes or so (on a 32-bit system) When I put in a ticket about it their recommendation was that I upgrade to a 64-bit system because they do not know what is causing the issue on their end. Unacceptable. I will check back and see if they ever fix it.
  19. Galantis

They want to "improve" performance but can't multi-thread properly with pretty much anything out there having multiple cores. Not very reassuring at all. Unplayable 1 week and counting. Might be time to move on soon, another failed game.
  20. UhtredRagnarsson

Hey guys, I posted earlier today, and have the game working now.. I read through the thread afterwards and tried the solutions that people had been trying, eventually finding what has so far worked for me (just played 2 hours with no glitching, whereas I would get glitching within the first minute before on 15+ tries).

So what worked was adjusting my BIOS CPU Overclock to 200 (from auto) as one guy had done. I know very little about overclocking, have never tried to do it before....so i really have no idea what the 200 number means...I just copied what the other guy had tried. It has so far worked for me. For anyone who reads this that does have a clue about what exactly the 200 number is, and why it shouldn't be set to 400 (My comp told me to set a number between 200-400) I would be interested to learn more about it. I have no clue why the game worked flawlessly before the patch and what SOE did to change things afterwards, or why my run of the mill PC couldn't just go with the flow.

Anyways, so far that has worked for me...hope it helps some other dudes who just need to put their own band aid onto this problem until SOE comes up with a fix.

    Cheers.

PS: A thanks to all the guys on here who were (and are) working to troubleshoot this on their own, you guys ended a lot of frustration for me haha.
