Are the new vehicle weapon convergence changes intentional?

Despite it helping out tanks and especially the Magrider with its low mounted gun it would just look silly and out of place, with the shells magically popping out of the midsection where the camera is located. There are better solutions, even if they require more work such as slight redesigns or aligning the crosshairs\ scopes.

So does this mean when I unload with my chaingun my character will be projectile vomiting a hail of bullets? If so then I say nay to this change. I will put up with any firing issues with the prowler, guns, or any other weapon but this change is going to remove one of the best things that differentiated it from all the other FPS games out there (aside from the massive map MMO gameplay obviously).

Most players have learned to compensate already and I don't see this as an issue.

It sounds worse than it actually is. I've played other games with this mechanic and it's very difficult to notice the projectiles coming from the wrong location unless you're paying attention and under ideal circumstances.

Has anyone noticed that these changes are now GONE? Was the patch reverted? I logged in a few hours after I saw the change, there was a patch. Afterwards the convergence was back. There has since been another patch, and the convergence is still there again. Can anyone confirm? Anyone have an idea why the convergence was put back?

Yeah, I booted up the test server and the convergence stuff is gone. Really disappointing. Also, 6x Scopes seem to have sway/hold breath now regardless of what class you're using it on. My Eidolon D:

I would really like an official word as to why the convergence changes were reverted. Will they be back? Was there a conflict? Hopefully the changes are being ironed out and will return, but official word on the subject could put our worries to rest.
