This is all I see when I look at weapons, there is nothing when I mouse over the ribbon slots and no weapons showing active ribbon goals. There doesn't seem to be ANY information on what ribbons are, where to get them, etc, other than how many are available. I read the GU06 info thread and it doesn't clarify much.

Last night I managed to get my 5 ribbons with the TMG-50, RAMS .50, M-77B, TX1 Repeater and the Cycler TRV. Each time I earned the ribbon the on screen graphic showed +250exp, but the exp feed said I earned something like 900exp.
So they are simply for any weapon. That still didn't clarify by itself, as it seemed from the original thread post that they would be specific weapons or actions, to promote wider variety of play. Alrighty.
