I am trying to make my Infiltrator loadout as close combat as possible and this seems like the best option. Has anyone given it a try? Can it compete with Carbines/LMGs/AR's at short-med range, and is it any decent unscoped?
Well I bought it blindly. I am very, very happy. This weapon is very decent in CQC, far better than any of the other primary weapon options Infiltrator has. It seems to be about a 4-5 shot kill from close range, and from what I have seen so far it's very competitive with HA/Medic/LA weapons, as I have beaten all of these classes straight up by both spraying and ADS so far. Infact, of all the weapons I have tried, this feels like THE best open sighted weapon. The damage per round feels very high. The only downside is the small clip size and small overall ammo capacity, getting 10 kills before running out of ammo would be very lucky. With this weapon Infiltrator is actually an Infiltrator.
