Anyone play on a tethered 4g connection?

    Yous guys are funny. It's amazing what people will come up with when they aren't educated on something...

    It doesn't matter how much data you're receiving via your cellphone connection, it could be Netflix, browsing the web, or playing a video game via a tethered connection, you're not going to "fry" your cellphone just because there's maximum bandwidth data transfer. If anything, your phone overheated and shut down/damaged itself because a combination of other reasons: overclocking, other apps running/taxing the CPU, poor chassis ventilation, manufacturer defects, etc.

    In any case, today's gaming uses about 5MB an hour down/up, so you're nowhere near a torrential downpour of data coming in.
