Any outfits that do advanced infantry training?

During Dawn Ops with my guys its the only time I care about KDR in this game. I want ever person in my squad to have a KDR over 1 and we rarely have someone below that. These guys are low battle ranks that many times have not played the game more than a few weeks getting kills often enough to feel proficient in the squad. I teach them proper tactics in this game by bounding from teammate using cover to cover, how to properly enter at building by checking for claymores/proximity mines. Skill will come to you over time but battle awareness can be taught immediately. As for any technical mouse settings that should be a given. You should come to every game with your mouse and keybindings set to give you the most comfortable environment possible. If you are not doing that then you should stick to a console.

QUANTUM DAWN DOES NOT ZERG! Whether my outfit has 12 people or 1200 people we will never be a zerg outfit.

Why is it that you only care about your KDR during your once or twice a week ops? Typically during outfit "ops" your KDR will get lower because of objective based game play.

Also, if you're an outfit leader, then surely you know how many players have know idea how to properly set up their mouse sensitivity. Most that do, especially when they first start playing, are apart of the higher skill outfits.

Lastly, skill and awareness can both be taught, and taught early. "Skill will come to you over time," is just a cop-out. Either you actively try to teach your members to bring their skill up, or you don't. There is not much in between.

Also, for your information, a "zerg" outfit is an outfit that uses numbers over individual skill to win a fight. Zerg outfits can be organized, they can be tactical, but they still use numbers.

    Hi crusaderx11,

First off i wanted to tell you after reading your post, don't let the arrogant mattherson descendant players get to you. Most of them have had experience, and are more likely working with others to take you down. Others are plane old cheaters, believe me, I know there are some who lag, or use aim bots, but no matter what if you take my advice on the following you might find satisfaction of beating them left to right.

Here are a few facts which will be useful:
    source: _https://www.planetside2.com/players/#!/5428057349744544849/stats
-currently your infantry accurraccy as a whole is 8.31%
-this is the number of your shots fired
    1,391,912 vs
    115,660
    shots hit
-i see that you primarily play light assault (37%)
-your highest accurate weapon with LA is the mauler S6 shotty with 26% accurate
-next to the shotty your next highest and useful for LA is the AF-4 cyclone with 18%

    Here are the tips:
-#1 get your jump jets certed for LA
-#2 always carry flash nades and medical kits
    -#3 use nanowave armor
-#4 work on your accuracy with the cyclone, don't just spray and prey. one thing you can do for this is lower your mouse sensitivities, and most importantly practice practice practice.
-#5 know you LA, know when you need to reload, are you checking your corners, can your enemies see you, use the advantage of the vertical ability the LA has to escape sticky situations
-#6 use the LA vertical ability in combat, aim down for their head = heashot!

    h0pe this helps.

No, a "zerg" outfit is an outfit that only wears pink camouflage and constantly ride Flashes. I think my arbitrary definition is far better than your arbitrary definition.

Seriously, people that try to make up definitions for slang words and then base arguments off their own arbitrary made-up definitions just piss me off. Give me break.

I care about KDR during our operations because its the most tangible thing to know if that member is playing the way Quantum Dawn is organized to play. We are an infantry specialty ran outfit. If someone has a low KDR then they are not playing close to the squad that should be flanking, breaching properly, being revived, healed, and repaired. If they have a KDR lower than .6 then I know they are not teamplayers in that respect. Battle awareness and skill are closely related but not exactly the same. A player may be good at twitch gameplay but run in blindly is high skill, low battle-awareness. Skill comes over time regardless of the player, it could be faster or slower depending on talent, just like in sports. And like in sports I can teach you the skills immediately but you wont be proficient until later.

And like Hasteras says these are just non-sense definitions. To me a zerg outfit is one that uses its numbers, and numbers only, to win battles. Strategy is regulated only to "go to the waypoint" and that is all.
