More like go ahead and cheat system, as long as you sub and only soft hack when the going gets tough. Or just fly around as a max shooting through spawn buildings with protection with impudence, whatever floats your max (see what I did there?) Now for the sad sad truth... it's 2022 and hacking has gotten progresively worse and worse over the worse, and reporting has gotten to the point where no one wants to bother, but there... hiding in the shadows is the anticheat team, collecting full pay for a system that doesn't work at all I see claims of "We are constantly working to strengthen our anticheat" and other claims in replies to player emails, but literally zero evidence of anything other than the team making it more and more difficult to report hackers. Saddest part is the game is very fun, but the experience is completely ruined by flying maxes, players shooting through walls, soft hacking with headshots... the list goes on. The point of this thread? No real point, just making an observation, so Merry Christmas n' stuff P.S. Dream job to do a thing that doesn't work and get full pay, where can I sign up for the anti-cheat team? You guys hiring?
There is no anti-cheat mechanism. Hacking is rampant now, and subtle hacks are what everyone is using. See invis, reduced CoF, damage reduction, etc. All of these and more are available for purchase, and DBG doesn't give a **** in the world about it. Here's a vid of someone strafing me that later admitted they were using a 'boost' that allowed them to see everyone, regardless of walls, invis, etc. ...you'll continue to have players here and on Redit that will crow 'there's very little cheating', 'it's not as bad as ytu say', etc. -- *these* are the people buying the cheats, and they work hard to just use them enough to get an edge - long term veteran players can clearly smell something isn't right, but there's no way something as antiquated as BattleEye will ever catch it.
The aiming in the video is so damn embarrassing, I'd probably feel sorry for the guy if he wasn't cheating. But because he's cheating I wish him a terrible future. Scriptkids are scum, vermin and a waste of oxygen.
Don't disagree with the sentiment about cheating. But that video. Is that person really cheating? They're running scout radar. Just looks like a salty pilot to me.
i do not see the point in cheating, how can cheating be rewarding. so you can brag about being so good....all because you cheated? they should just remove the dumb k/d thing from the game, that way the cheaters will not have much to brag about. so they may go and infect other games with their pathetic cheating/must win no matter what attitude, and leave us all the hell alone to play the game.
The Mossie seems to have a Scout Radar dome. I believe it can detect movement even with cloak (you appear as a red dot on minimap as you move). In other words, you should remain still to lose him. Could he still be cheating? Yes.
The cheats been pretty bad and blatant lately. Some examples, random engineer with their scout rifle on NC inside terrain shooting people a whole alert and moving with the NC push. Even killing people in spawn. Seen three flying VS maxes so far since the weekend. Recently also saw a gunner in a magrider fully spinning the turret like a maxed out sensitivity and just saron blasting anyone at any range. Oddly I haven't run into many TR hackers recent, but not to say there probably aren't some. This stuff has been pretty blatant and has been making it harder and harder to want to play. Ya ya ya clientside etc etc, but the blatant ones should at least have some fast response. Can't pay one intern to just if they see a sudden spike of reports just login and go into observer mode or something and kick the most blatant ones?
