Hello, I have been getting very low fps on Amerish these days during peak hours and is absolutely unplayable for me. If server pop is low I still get lower fps than other continents. During peak hours at Amerish warp gate I get 30fps while at Indar or Esamir warp gate I get 70-100 fps. During fights I drop to 15-25 in amerish while on other continents its usually around 40 fps. Flying aircraft's on amerish feels like driving a truck and I'm completely useless at infantry as moving my mouse around seems like I'm lifting a heavy rock. All my settings are on High, AO is disabled, Shadows are disabled and Fog Shadows are enabled. Render distance is 4k and Render Quality is 100%. Any help would be appreciated as I really want to play here but cant. Getting a little sick on Indar again and as a TR player Esamir sickens me.
I'd like you to turn the in-game framerate counter on (Alt + F is the default) and take a look at whether you are seeing [CPU] or [GPU] next to it when you're experiencing that framerate drop. Depending on what it reads you'd want to adjust your settings differently to increase performance. But this isnt the only thread on low fps on Amerish ... why tweak settings that might make the game look worse on all continents? Isnt this something for the devs to look into on their end?
I would recommend the devs to take a closer look at Amerish because at some places where there are structures it appears that the buildings actually are doubled, rendered at the same location, meaning that the polygon count also doubles. You can see this when close to walls at an angle or using NV scopes especially on Ammo Towers. Doubling the polygon count will certainly impact the fps, even though it looks normal.

Stop with these generic replies - you are only irritating forum users, everybody knows that Amerish is terribly optimized(?), especially during alerts (e.g. higher population than usually "empty"). Couple of days ago situation on Cobalt was terrible, everyone in my outfit was cpu bounded at 20-30fps myself included - i7 3770, 16gb, hd7950 1080p, everything maxed out without shadows.
