I've thoroughly read the update notes and all I can find regarding that is this: "Participating in a Meltdown Alert will also give players A7 based on how much time they've spent in the Alert." Nowhere does it say they no longer reward certs, ISO or items(cosmetic/boosters/implants) to the winning faction. If this is intentional and you just sneaked it in there with no clear patch notes, I'm incredibly disappointed. As if removing the continent events wasn't enough of a hit to ISO gain, now we'd have to get all of our ISO from implant packs which cost a ton of certs... or DBC. I'm not a freeloader that thinks everything should be free and cheap in a free to play game, I've already spent hundreds of dollars in the game over a few years - but this is too much. Look at my item log, all I got from 2 alerts was A7:
1. The change was listed elsewhere (and earlier, I believe). 2. There are already reports on this. No need for another one. 3. Even *yesterday* the devs had announced that removing the alert rewards now was a misstep (it's kinda in the pipeline apparently, but it's got something to do with currency balancing once more stuff comes out - or something). They also announced *yesterday* that there'd be a hotfix / update *today* fixing that issue.
Yes, I see they put it in the latest patch notes. Regarding them "listing" the change earlier and elsewhere, and "announcing" they will restore them yesterday, not all of us follow all of their social media/reddit/whatever, so it would be normal to include this in the patch notes or news on this forum. I am curious about what they had to say about it, so if you could give me a link to at least the second statement, I'd appreciate it.
Confirm, hotfix does not work Also "misstep" is a suspicious term to use by devs that does not imly a "bug". Who even thought it would be a great idea to remove ISO and certs from alerts without giving any alternatives?
Same here. No ISO even after hotfix. Only A7. Checked with other people and they have the same issue.
