I find it really difficult to gauge the distance of enemies from my location. Wouldn't it be nice to have some kind of legend in the mini-map to show how far away things are? I would find that this would be useful in many situations. One of them would be HAs trying to take out vehicles. Having a measurement of the distance would help with determining whether the target is within optimal range and with factoring in bullet drop and velocity when aiming. Similar advantages would come to snipers, who need to have a higher degree of precision with distance. Infantrymen in general gain a benefit in knowing the distance between their targets, and thereby having a better idea as to what weapons would be best to deal with the situation at hand. The benefits would also extend to vehicles. Pilots could be more able to use appropriate evasive measures when they can accurately determine the distance of their pursuers and factor in the velocity of the pursuer. Tanks would be able to better compensate with slower projectile velocities, making their aiming more efficient and deadly. All in all, I think making distances more clear in the game would be pretty beneficial, and it would make gameplay less stressful. What do you guys think?
Shameless bump action... I know this isn't really top priority, but it would be a really nice and relatively simple addition to the game.
I've never come across this implant... Damn. I wish we didn't have to have the implant to know how far away things are, but I guess we can just figure it out (or use the implant). But okay, if that's the way things are...
