[Suggestion] Add a door or sheild to the Valkyrie

A simple add-on to the Valkyrie that would allow people riding in the ruble seats to survive enemy fire easier.

I don't know if it would be better to be default to the Valkyrie, or as a certification.

It would be a button that a player would press in the ruble seat. One on each side. It would close within a second or two. It will also have a cool-down time to prevent spamming.

The benefits would be:

• More survivability against flak explosions, and other things like rockets.
• Allow players in the rumble seats to survive long enough to get out for a tactical insertion.

The bad would be:

• Unable to shoot out of rumble seats while door is active.
• Unable to jump out before door is opened again.

Also maybe a certification for AI turrets inside the rumble seats?

I think a better options is make Infantry 100% resistant to flak explosions. The Valk is the ONLY time they would be exposed to Flak exploding on them. Skyguard and Bursters fired directly at infantry don't explode and do normal hit damage which is a different damage type.

Er, shooting at escape pods also triggers flak explosion. I've had a few ground flak kills that way.

But yes, Valkyrie is currently the only way that infantry are constantly exposed to flak blowing up in their face. However, I don't think a 100% resistance is the answer to that.

Tested yesterday, Good suggestion. You die in 2 more flak explosions, so you life expectancy in a Valk went from 1s to 1.2s. So useful.

Either make rumble seats passengers immune to flak and lockons splash, or this vehicle is useless.

"Transport" which passengers die instantly the moment enemy sees it. gg.

Or just make the doors like suggested above.

I want star wars republic gunship style doors that can be opened and closed.
