NS-11A has the easiest manageable recoil. Other rifles will outperform it in CQC ability, hipfire, clip size, pure damage at range... but not controllability. As a plus you get the 0.75 ADS movement factor. I don't think your question is entirely valid though. Just because a rifle has low recoil doesn't mean another rifle couldn't be worth it to you. It depends on how you play. Personally I like to use the S-rifle with smoke grenades when playing Medic as it allows me to better cover my squad and set up for revives in dangerous areas.
TAR with forward grip is probably the best all around weapon but if you are struggling with recoil compensation that might not be the gun for you although i would still recommend trying to get used to it because once you do it will outperform all other options.
Yeah both the previous suggestions are good. If you struggle with control, the T1 and T1S are going to be much easier to handle while still offering better damage output than the NS-11A. Not to say the NS-11A is bad by any means but I don't think TR particularly needs it.
I'd argue this until the sun explodes. The T1 over distance will definitely outperform the TAR, and it's chuking out just a little less than one less round per second with a slower ADS movement (but faster ADS movement has it's drawbacks in terms of accuracy over so much distance, so it equals out.) The TRV is easier to handle - but is shafted a decent hip-CoF to accomplish that - and can compensate for the extra damage tier drop with it's sheer RPM. The TAR is a sloppy weapon for long range fighting, and abusing the .75x modifier even over medium range only makes it worse. I can't remember the last time I died to the TAR as an NC or VS at any range, and I use the slow, sub-600 RPM assault rifles for either (they're frighteningly capable in CQC I've found.) Long story short, I feel the TAR is horrifically over-rated as an "all-rounder." I feel if One is using a fore-grip for it, then they are simply using it wrong. The TRV is more the all-rounder, most people just don't seem to realize it pulls to the left, instead of to the right.
T1 burster + forgrip + HVA This is planetside 2s ultimate setup. Super accurate. Super versatile. I know many feel hesitant at first but I just implore you to drop everything else and start auraxium this specific setup. You will learn so much
I also find the T1S Cycler with foregrip, compensator, softpoint ammo is the most managable recoil weapon I have as a Medic. I also like that it has full auto, 3 shot burst and single shot mode all in one gun. But I suggest going to the VR test range and try out different things aim at the furthest targets.
Huge fan of the T1 Cycler here. Probably one of the most "under-appreciated" weapons in game. My TR Medic is a beast with it.
I can't help but feel the TR got a bit shafted when it comes to longer-ranged ARs. Both the NC and VS get full-auto ones, but the TR are stuck with one that is burst-fire/semi-auto only.
Since when does the T1S have higher recoil than the T1? The handling on the T1s is much easier as it has a lower first shot recoil also the LR horizontal recoil is less evident in the T1S, but is due to the fact that the T1s is a longer range rifle (0-55M) whereas the T1 is a 0-35 m rifle. The T1 is a good starter rifle but other choices are far more accurate than it over longer range. Putting a compensator in the T1s with HVA is a good Idea though the effect is marginal IME.
The SABR-13 is quite possibly the best assault rifle in the entire game, the fact that it's burst-only is a blessing in disguise because it means it got so many other fantastic buffs to make it uber. Learn to love it, it's worth it.
