Accuracy...the defining factor

Want to know where your at with PS2? Simply look at your accuracy. There are many videos out there that help ppl improve, but nothing will compare to getting your hands dirty and upgrading your Rig. I'm not promoting CPUs, I just call it like I see it.

Getting a Rig set up with an i7 or comparable AMD will net you 30-40% accuracy. i5s will net you 25-30%. i3 and G3528 will get you a solid 20-25%. I know ppl get frustrated and wonder why things happen the way they do. If you really want to improve, that's the key. You can watch all the MLG videos you can stand, but you will never reach this games full potential without some serious investment.

I'd give myself an extra 5% since I often waste waaaay more ammo than necessary just because. Sometimes I'll burn a magazine off just to be funny and make a teammate 'dance'.

While rig is important, actually aiming is more important. Don't be a scrub like me, I JUST HOLD THE TRIGGER.

Probably OP running dual core 10% accuracy and is looking for excuses to not admit how bad is his aim.

In what world? I'm unsure even the top players maintain a 30% overall even. Hell even with super controllable weapons and such sometimes tactics even dictate not shooting to hit an enemy. (Lasher users huzzah!)

Concepts like suppressing an enemy don't agree with such assessments not to mention 30% would be generous for even pretty good players to maintain...

I'm running a six core amd and a gtx 970, easily run over 60 fps by the OP's assessment I should hold onto 30+% accuracy easily. Nope, I try to sound or drive off enemies too much.

i5 here, normally get about 32% accuracy.

This needed to be stated? Its pretty obvious better FPS will generate better performance of the player due to smoother movements.

You really don't know what you're talking about. Check dasanfall stats site and see the type of accuracy for "top" players.
Supressive fire using infantry weapons as infantry in this game is probably one of the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

My automatic weapons average in the mid 20% range depending upon when I used it and its individual values (i7 960 here), but my Lancer is right at 70%, so clearly I can aim.

You sir don't realize how effective it is with the lasher especially. People avoid being hit even a little like the plague in this game and if you keep fire going down range people are less likely to run into it. Been pinned in a building myself from rockets and constant shots coming at the door from a side, peek out to return fire? You'll catch damage.

If you think infantry cannot suppress areas in this game you're out of your mind.

I shoot at walls, Vehicles in the air, through doors and corridors to help deter enemy passage, at targets outside of my weapon's normal competency range, and so forth. I'd say that if you're so hung up on your accuracy score, you aren't trying hard enough.

Granted, that has nothing to do with actually holding a target in your crosshairs successfully in a firefight but, eh, you weren't specific enough.

Having a high accuracy is an indicator of skill.

But having low accuracy means nothing.

Accuracy per weapon, or infantry accuracy overall? I'll believe 30% weapon accuracy, but 30% infantry accuracy overall smells of aimbotting.
