According to the VS on Matterson

I was actually surprised at the lack of /yell going back and forth in some of those big Indar Excavation TR/NC fights last week. There was some but not a lot and very little if any of it was actual taunting, it was just typical silliness.

because there was a larger player base so Indar would retain a high and therefor relatively even population at all times regardless of world population.

And because the population imbalance wasn't as extreme. I remember last week i was playing at like 3am... i'd guess there was around 200-300 vanu on indar and about 20 TR on indar.

You can keep acting like its not a problem Deathrus by bring up non issues, try to divert the conversation etc, but its meaningless. The NC know its an issue, the TR know its an issue, half the VS know its an issue, and the Devs know its an issue. Keeping thinking its ok, your viewpoint is already irrelevant.

"FIX POP BALANCE NAO"

By doing what? Waving a magic wand and saying "yeah, population balance is now perfect, everyone is happy."

What you're asking for:

1.) SOE to force people to play on factions they don't want to play. Let's start fixing balance right now. OP, because its in the best interest of population balance, your character is being transferred to a different server with low population for your faction.

2.) SOE to prevent people from playing if they're on a faction with too high of a population. If my faction's population was too high and I wasn't allowed to play, I would make a new character on a different server or change factions. I would be pissed off and stop playing.

The way you fix population balance is by letting players do it themselves. Direct new players to factions that need population and allow you to transfer your character for free to servers that need population for your faction.

And that's clearly not what you're asking for. This entire discussion is just a bunch of angry people venting about something pointless. Its no wonder developers prefer not to read forums, and people still wonder why when threads like these are always at the front.

Not sure where you get me...getting my panties in a twist. I was stating what I saw and felt in a mild manner. If you want to get panties twisting...more than happy to oblige. But you are not worth the time or effort.

Really? because I've just started a TR character on Mattherson the other day and ran into lots of BR 1-10 Vanu.
Hell, there was literally a BR 1 Vanu I had to kill who was trying to solo cap the Stronghold (i.e. there's no way he drop podded there from tutorial, was zero fighting. Just him, me, and one other TR.)

Really...so you are saying? People are suppose to put up with the "abuse" from people? I must please you and the VS on the server.

Thanks I didn't realize I'm suppose to do that. I'll log into Mattherson everyone night just to not enjoy playing a game, in essence a hobby.

So I'm right in my other post....it's really a Stockholm syndrome scenario.

I don't understand why the TR and NC cry so much about mattherson VS pop...
VS on waterson are constantly in the low 20% if not lower and they don't cry about it.

The TR on Mattherson are just terrible, regardless of population. (I play a TR on Matterson, so I know.)

Sounded like a nice middle ground between the two extremes, if you will. A little of everything, not too much of one. A simple idea that some seem not able to grasp.

For myself, that middle ground makes it enjoyable to play. Nothing wrong with trash talk, so long as it's kept civil as possible, a reasonable dose of it and mixed in with like you said silliness.

I noticed myself the TR and NC seemed to get that. But the VS, the memo didn't get there.

But hey....who cares I only have my panties in a twist. My life is rough because I care about others having a good experience.

Granted, not quite so much lately, but that could be they've accepted it and moved on with their lives.

Jak BWC purposely tries to pick fights where we are outnumbered and the VS outfits+Fourth Faction VS often outnumber us. I wouldn't brag beating NNG vs BWC in a head to head fight consisting of only them during our OP because of the sheer difference in numbers. What honor is there in that? Jak why would I brag about something so insignificant, COME ON MANNNN!

I never said NNG has never put a stop to us ever, and myself and BWC has respect for NNG and that will always be the case in the foreseeable future.

TR have almost always been the faction with the least population, and attributing all that to BCP's racism and trash talk is giving him way to much credit. There have always been other outfits besides TE, so it's not like you couldn't avoid BCP. It was easy being in a good outfit without dealing with him. TR as a whole didn't treat eachother badly by any stretch of the imagination.

Oh and BCP was not the leader of TR Mattherson, get this out of your head because it isn't true.

I remember when Mattherson VS pop was usually in the 20s. Such wonderful, magical times.

I'll go back to playing my VS main when that happens again, it WAS good times.
