Can someone tell me why it takes two full tankbuster clips now to blow up a single anti-air turret with my tankbuster ? Now when I fly over an Amp Station I lose to a BR5 in an AA turret because I have to line up the shot, hold the shot, wait for reload, all while I'm getting blasted the whole time. You want to talk about not fair, I can't win against a single occupied turret now in a Liberator let alone 2 turrets. This change needs to be reverted back to the way it was. If anything, make it so the turrets don't overheat, or something like that. And not to mention, I'm not seeing any more points for repairing the turrets even though they have more hit points now.
Hey. Maybe you shouldn't be using an air unit to boldly get into a slug fest with its direct counter, huh?
The problem is that you are going head-to-head with your direct counter/deterrent. Attack from a range or take advantage of having a gunner slot.
What if you upgrade magazine? Can ylu miss and be further awsy? Did tank buster get bnerf against tanks or was it only turrets and infantry?
If you upgrade the Magazine, you can miss some shots. Being farther away... mmmm, not sure. The damage drop-off for the Vektor is pretty unforgiving. The Tank Buster didn't get a specific nerf I don't think, it's just that the turret's armour type changed - something that the Vektor doesn't seem bothered by for some reason. *Edit* - for some reason, I can't quote people's posts. :/
If I had to guess, it'd probably be because the Vektor is basically a forward basilisk for the Liberator. It has the same sound and bullet, and I believe it even looks similar. A stock basilisk can kill a turret in a single clip without missing a shot, as well. Of course it takes awhile and not a handful of seconds that the former tank buster did. It always irritated the hell out of me when I hopped in an AA turret to get the lib out of my airspace only to have it immediately gank me with a clip of tankbuster. The ones that didn't one clip me usually lifted the belly and the gunner did the job.
