[Suggestion] a way to train new players?

Would it be helpful if new players were forced to play on their own server or at least own continent that was locked out to experienced players.

Say BR 1 to 10 your on your own continent. You have the option to leave early. But whilst your there your only fighting against other new players. So the learning will be a bit easier. No experienced players to take advantage of your noob mistakes. It would be a fully working continent with all the existing game mechanics so new players would be getting the proper ps2 experience.

I don't like the idea of segregating players just because they are new. What I much rather happen is ONCE MISSIONS ARE ACTUALLY WORKING have new players be paired up against other new players in smaller scale skirmishes. They get to learn how to play at an easier pace and without needing so much situational awareness like in large battles but at the same time they aren't forced to play in noobie land if they feel ready for the good stuff.

that could work. Although more experienced players could still be at those small fights. Heck some players might seek them out just to troll the new players there and get easy kills.

It would be too much effort for them to find the lower BR players(they couldn't get the mission to engage them) and they would probably seek biofarms or whatever. However it could be possible that the low BR skirmish escalates into a large fight. Could be good or bad. I don't know
Your idea would allow anyone that is already more skilled to deliberately screw with new players by remaking alts. Or there wouldn't be nearly enough of a population so they couldn't even play normally to get the certs to leave. So I see that is worse.

I think they need a "ride along" option for newbies. Game gives you the option if you are under BR10 to choose to ride along with a squad or solo player who has listed themselves/squad for taking newbies (with a description of what to expect). Instead of just the "auto join a squad".

Nobody has every joined a new game, been shoved into a group of randoms, and though yeah I definitely feel like a part of this team/am doing the type of things I want to. It's somewhat random that new players to planetside will ever see (literally) what the hubub is about. It's kind of a crapshoot what fight they will end up at and who with, which is a whole lot left to chance when you want to make a good first impression.

So make it so that newbies know what to expect for that trip, and people can volunteer to guide them (because nobody likes a clueless guy wrecking it for everyone else).

Hello BR1 would you like to ride along with:
    - Galaxy drop ops - Hosted by Outfit _____ Join along our squad to learn about precision drops and re secures, expect heavy action
    - Necromancy 101 - Hosted by Player____ Be my medic buddy and learn to raise your zombie army

Then spawn them in on that player/vehicle (first time only direct to them) and make sure to alert them both to their presence, and give the newbie an alert every time their host is travelling/changing hexes. So they can keep track of one another (this is another issue of PS2 versus a typical mmo, there are a lot of somewhat invisible ways to travel and it can be hard to track a friends movement when you're new).

Make them be short 20 minute player specific missions/alerts, during which the newbie gets bonus XP for being in the same area at their host, at the end both newbie and host get an XP bonus. At which point the newbie can take a new ridealong, or just stay in squad.

Basically I want a way to just grab a new player and say "check this **** out". Because players who have been around a long time know how to find the engaging parts of the game. New players don't need a tutorial to move and get an auto squad, they need to see a lumifiber galaxy fly low, pick them up with fighter escort, and take them on an adventure through an epic fight.

I wrote way more than I intended.
