a K/D of 41.69 - is this possible??

I was just looking up some stats on players and saw a guy had a K/D of 41.69 - is that even possible???

It is possible. Especially since you can see his most played class is engineer which means he uses tanks/air.

yeh i get the most played engineer part, but i looked at other engys stats and the good ones seem to be around a 10 kd ratio. this guy must be awesome.

Not really. He probably has a dedicated pilot and max level certs. So there is a opposite to this guy. Look for an Engie with a 0.1 KDR and you'll find the pilot.

Actually the pilot is awesome..... this guy obviously the gunner, not so impressed by gunners.

Lib spamming, bought the zepher and rocket pods on day one as well as HE for every singlve vehicle. Never fairly grinded for any weapon and never, EVER plays infantry. That is the only way one can get this ridiculous K/d. I suppose he is Vanu as well?

In all honesty, the Engi class with that high a K/D is a red flag for a cheater. A tonne of hackers just sit in the Engi turret and hold down left click and rack up dozens of kills in seconds.

Since when has KDR been an indication of skill?
Like previously mentioned, this guy is whoring in vehicles, and probably a Liberator gunner as well.

The hardest job in a Liberator is the Pilot's job, the gunner is fairly easy by comparison.(and the former gets no kills, even).

I'm more impressed by his pilot, tbh, (who probably is much further down on the list)

Daddy is a TR Hover spammer in a mosquito with rocketpods.

Altough quite skilled in dog fights he has the habit of logging of and de constructing his mosquito at the first sign of danger.
Then he just spawns at the WG and find the next place to kill infantry.

If you want to see him, he's on Miller EU and usually on Indar

Edit: I'd also like to add that even since Beta I've never seen him outside of a mosquito.

so if hes about to die he logs off and deconstructs his mosquito??? surely thats exploiting then?

What you would need to check, if it was avaiable, would be his score per minute and accuracy, since if you really want to, there are ways to pad the kill/death ratio.
K/Dr, in a game like PS2, is worthless.

Wouldnt be suprised if hes one of the ones who flips on speed hack+Afterburner at signs of danger too

You left out the:

Most Used: Liberator/Mossy
Most Camped: Spawn Outhouse

Simple.. start taking damage from AA.. AB away, then 'eject' without the ejection settup. You splat on the ground and it counts as a 'suicide' rather than a 'death'. Meaning your K/D doesn't take a hit.

sounds like an easy fix for soe to me. suicides count as deaths if you died jumping out of aircraft because you pressed the Eject key
