Outfit Description: The 5th Ranger Battalion is a relatively small(41 Rangers currently), competitive outfit that focuses mostly on Infantry but commonly use Air and Armor assets to support the Rangers on the ground. We see the value in coordinated squad and platoon play that utilizes elements of strategy and tactics through cohesive teamwork and communication. We are located on the Connery server of Planetside 2 and commonly run public squads for our New Conglomerate comrades. Who We Are: If you are looking for a super hardcore Milsim group, you are probably not a good fit for us. If you think that it is all about fun and "it is just a game" you should probably just keep swimming along and get picked up by some other unit. As one of our fellow Rangers puts it we are “Laid back at times, serious at others, but always fun”. If you are looking for that happy medium, we would happy to have you as a fellow Ranger. Who We Are Currently Looking For: Currently we are looking for leaders to flush out a command structure, and players skilled in Ground and Air combat vehicles. If you are not one of these don’t worry, we will still consider you. Although there is no age limit to join, we do expect a level of maturity that is not normally found in children and young teenagers.
