Today's Daily Member Sale are some Shotguns: Pandora VX25 (VS) FA1 Barrage (TR) AF-57 Piston (NC) More details on them here. They are normally 700 SC/1000 Certs, but are 350 SC with the sale. Anyone want to give their thoughts on the effectiveness of these weapons?
I've never even used the auto shotguns, but I know enough to say they are complete ammo hogs and very inefficient weapons. Everyone I know who has used the Pandora tells me they regret buying it because they always end up accidentally firing too many rounds. All they do is provide a bit of a better rate of fire over the semi-autos, but to use that rate of fire, you need to hold down the mouse button and go full auto, which leads to spamming. It's so much more efficient to just double tap with a Nova, plus you get 12 rounds with extended magazine, compared to the 10 you get with the auto shotgun. Why are we even discussing this though? Pumps are the hot new things, they outclass the older shotguns in every way.
Pandora is great... why? Kills faster than Semi Auto, more forgiving for missed shots than Semi or Pump. I don´t know anyone not loving this weapon... Can´t do much wrong with any Shotgun imho...
