Some time ago I've seen 2 video's appear on these forums. 1 is with a sunderer loaded up with heavies and killing tanks in a matter of seconds. And the other one was with a Vanu outfit using shield diffusers to take an amp station. They drove inside, unloaded the sundy. Infiltrators hacked the terminals and they spawned AMS sundies. I've been searching for some time now but I cannot find them anymore. So I want to ask for your help. I'd be awefully thankful.
Can't help you with the heavies one....but.. To take an Amp station, you need 2 Sundy. One with gate diffuser, one stock. Load up the gate diffuser with troops, including one Infiltrator. Second Sundy (1/12) acts as a blocker on the outside of the shield and parks in front of the vehicle spawn. Someone in the diffuser group pulls an S-AMS after breach, blocked by the stock/expendable Sundy outside, it won't go through the shield that way. Back up and deploy. This leaves you with 3 Sundy, 2 of which are now useless barring weapons to suppress enemy advance. Profit. Edit: This can work with a Tech Plant, but not as easily.
Even if the shields are up? Unsure on that one. If you leave the shields, you shouldn't be able to reenter the plant, but...never tried.
Yeah, I did it a couple days ago. My sunderer went out and I just held the S key and it went back through. Maybe I was drunk and it was my own territory(joke), but I'm nearly 100% sure on this.
^sure is interesting and I'm gonna test it out sometime. Still, if there is anyone out there that knows where to find the videos
