Lore: The New Conglomerate now locked in bloody conflict with both the Terran Republic and the Vanu Sovereignty for the liberation of the planet Auraxis have now looked to training professional soldiers. Leaders of the struggling rebellion have begun to form units and put forth the call for all men and women of the NC to step up and fight for their freedom against the oppression of a tyrannical empire. Of the many units formed from this movement came the 1st Cavalry, a unit dedicated to the ideals of the New Conglomerate and the protection of its people. Growing stronger by the day and gaining influence amongst the populace they march on the path to a better and brighter future of Rights and Freedom for all. About Us: The First Cav is relaxed and friendly group of mature gamers that enjoy playing all types of games in an organized manner and have been around for 5 years now, we are continuously growing and most of the time running a full platoon or more. In our unit we use the US Army rank structure for organization and leadership. We have gamers from across the world in US, Canada, Mexico, England, Denmark, Finland and so on. So chances are there will be someone online to game with. We also run our own Teamspeak 3 server to allow communication between our gamers, feel free to come in chat relax or game to your hearts content with fellow gamers. Just wanted to give you guys some kudos. About a week ago HoD was fighting on Esamir and the rest of our empire was East fighting the TR near their WG. We were doing our best to fight the Vanu allowing you guys to deal with the TR, but when the VS Zerg popped out of the WP, there wasn't much we could do but pull back and adapt our operations. I made the call over command and let everyone know there was a massive zerg heading from the VS warpgate North and that soon they'd be heading west (essentially sandwiching the NC in the east). Not expecting much and assuming my call would probably fall on deaf ears, HoD decided set up shop on a hill and initiate an AA operation knowing we couldn't take the VS on head to head, but within minutes we saw the 1st Cav respond with a QRF (Quick Reaction Force) and come sweeping in to the bio lab. Was pretty cool to see you guys show up. HoD is used to be being alone but when backup arrives it's always a welcomed surprise.
