You can check that in your task manager to see if it's running the 32-bit or 64-bit version.

Just download the 332.21 drivers for your gfx card from the nvidia site. Run the file and make sure you select "clean install" or something along...
If you're using updated gfx drivers, try rolling back to ver 332.21. It should fix your problem with blackscreens.
