1200 PSU gold cert and no heat issues. Its not a PC problem. It's a game problem.
Common problem, apparently, some people experience the same in the main crashing thread.
I have the same problem, not while looking at map though. Ive had it twice when in a vehicle. Computer just freezes up completely. No bluescreens....
