New to PS2 so I did not know that. What is puzzling is that doesn't seem to be in the PS4 version. R2 does both and not very well, either.
Dunno if it's a bug, but my medic tool seems to heal or revive pretty much who it wants to. I can aim it at a fallen ally and it will auto-target...
