I've been playing since yesterday and the graphics were kind of meh. I watched a you tube video and my eyes popped out. The graphics were so lush. On my machine, everything looks like 100+ gamma and poor detail. I set gamma to minimum, graphics on high, mid and low, no notable change to the washed out look. Any ideas?
Take the came out of full screen mode and play in Windowed mode. Not Full Windowed but just Windowed. Then drag and expand it to fit your screen. For some reason the colors are extreamly more vibrant this way than when the game is displayed in full screen.
Went to windowed mode OK, general specs are... amd phenom II x4 965 3.4 4g ram 64bit OS radeon HD6850 (current drivers) direct 11 detail looks somewhere between original Unreal and Unreal Tournament. On all high settings . Also dxdiag fails, can't find system info. Running GW2 and it looks excellent. Any thoughts?
Thanks !! setting the one setting to low and leaving everything else on high fixed it. Amazing that one little trip would make such a difference. I am playing on the wasteland map, so don't expect too much, but the charatcers and uniforms should look sharp. Much better !!
