[Suggestion] Increase Router range to 1000m/1250m

    Right now you have to build right next to the base you're attacking in order to use them, which practically removed them from the game.

    The nerf was deserved as you could build next to the warpgate and use routers half the map away, but right now they're worthless. A small range increase would make them much more useful.

    I would rather see Routers changed in functioning and the Forwards Station returned.

    Routers: once you grab the router you place down two elysium type tubes. These let you teleport players between the two tubes. It gives quick(er) access to area's, like from the Sunderer to the pointroom. But its larger size and two places to defend makes it easier to stop. Max range between tubes is 1000(?)m.

    Forwards Station:
    200 resources one-time-use utility item for Medics. Once placed, anyone dead/redeployed within 300m can spawn there. Has no NDZ rules* and no infantry terminal. Can easily be destroyed with small-arms and explosives, has AMS respawn times, EMP just shuts it down for a couple of seconds, shows up on minimap at 30(?)m.
    Makes Medics more valuable and used (the least used class). Spawncamping becomes harder, attackers/defenders can create more dynamic fights through bases. Makes classes that can hunt down FS stations more valuable as well, making HA's less a jack-of-all-trades class.

    *should this be too powerful, a FS-station specific NDZ of say 50(?)m around every point prevents pointroom spawning shenanigans.

    Well Demigan, it's nice to be on the same page here. I have also advocated for the router to be a player deployed teleporter rather than an independent spawn point.

    Adding deployable teleports would turn the game into a joke. 500m is massive enough to put a rapid player base to drop a router. A router has the potential to turn a base with 40:60 pop to be an impossible base to take unless the building gets OSed and destroys the router. Maybe your 50m NDZ obsession deployable can work but if new things were added to the game that none of us thought about already.
