i think it uses the alt colour, because yellow is the alt colour of NC (blue is primary) and teal is the alt colour for VS (purple is primary) the only reason TR don't have their alt colour is because their alt colour is dark grey, and dark grey light armour doesn't really work XD
NC is blue and their primary color is blue, TR is red and theirs is red, VS primary is purple and theirs is teal.
Each faction has 2 sets of hardlight camo. The second VS set is purple. And yeah, I'd kinda like the first set to go purple too, but I myself am fine with it as it.
I think there's some confusion going on between the "Hard Light Armour" which is the one that shows alt colours (yellow/teal) And a later set, I forget the name, which shows primary colours (blue/purple) Can anyone remember the name? And yeah, TR only get both of theirs in red because their alt colour (pretty much black) Doesn't work for light armour I quite like the VS teal myself, I run it on my VS with Ashtiger camo! It's a good mix
