Suggestion: Merit Based stuff

    Why can’t the IR boost be part of tactical? I see no point in giving up precious medical kits or C4 for something that doesn’t last long when you can use a implant or scope.

    1. How about a module you can put for doors or windows that creates a shield barrier that they can’t spam or shots through, but of course they have to move through it?

    2. How about some Anti Air mini flak turrets you can put down like the first Planetside called Cerebrus or shadow turrets that cloaked like first planetside, they also had a stationary turret like the base turrets you could deploy, better than the junk ones current engineer have, also why don’t engineers have empire specific turrets?

    3. What about a portable equipment terminal you can put down?

    4. What about a medic crate, allowing you to refill, medic or restoration packs or change to it after you exhausted your C4?

    5. Where is stuff for maxes that they can enjoy with Merits also? They feel left out.

    The IR vision kit should definitely be moved to the tactical slot. If nothing else give aux Spitfires some competition.

    I actually think the IR vision kit would be a wonderful idea for a tactical tool and hope they expand on that with more situational effects for that slot. For example:

    Single use safe fall kit.
    30 seconds of 50% flinch resistance.
    30 seconds of 50% faster reload speed.
    15 seconds of 50% resistance to tactical grenades (flash, conc, EMP).
    15 seconds of not showing up on radar.

    Basically turn the situational implants into items you can equip in the tactical slot.
