During last week there was some players @ Cobalt with aimbot hack. Killing ppls simple with headshots geting 160 kills in 5 minutes at 1 base, ignoring even infiltrator cloacks. Still after all those years of PS2, DB isnt able to implent any serious anti cheating software to this game.

You should check right now to see if you can find their character.

The turnover rate seems pretty decent.

I suspect some of them are meant as a distraction for the more subtle cheaters.
Some things I'm curious about but am not sure if are actual cheats or I'm missing something. Enemies that I have clearly taken health from but when they kill me suddenly have shields, no they aren't running that headshot implant. Makes me think they have a cheat to constantly regen.

Yup, you may be up to something, I agree with you... and, it may be lot uglier under the surface... people do claim Daybreak personnel is not only lazy or unable to get rid of hack users, they even might be ones selling hack, some people say... look at this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/comments/b98411/developer_drew_is_giving_hacks_to_his_friends/ ...if that is truth, and Daybreak makes their money 5$ or so per month, per 1 cheating fool - that would be really sad, deal breaker... and, those who don't cheat- they are just fodder, meant to be abused by cheaters with paid "elevated accounts"... Idk, but I hope more truth comes out. If it is so ugly, than, let this game die off. And, if devs and their handlers do such nonsense, let them find themselves other jobs, where they wont be able to bother anybody.

There's no such thing. The only thing that ever outlasts coding Arms-races and brute Force attrition is when you enable Spectating Demos via other clients and therefore allow the playerbase to police itself with absolute certainty.

If they were really serious about stopping all of the Blatant hacking AND the Subtle hacking, they would add in a Demo Recording option of other players you've faced, where the client can log off from the Server to watch it offline (thus avoiding everyone else's biggest fears about "tactical GHOSTING"). Then they could submit those demos to a Discord inhabited by veteran cheat specialists from the community (like myself) along with hopefully at least one actual DBG G.M. "on duty" that all escalated tickets could be submitted directly to; after some kind of Consensus was reached. (I know this works because we used to have a similar setup in APB reloaded before its publishers completely gave up on any sort of enforcement what so ever)

Well any sort of spectate function would show some cheaters clearly, the only issues with it are I guess ghosting if for some reason you let it happen live, or giving away camping locations if it's an immediate killcam. I suppose for Planetside it could potentially be a resource hog, maybe. Not familiar with all those details so who knows, I would think 3 seconds of a killcam would easily show anyone aimbot snapping or tracking without eating up too much memory.
The only reason for games not having such functionality is they don't care, especially these days with all sorts of people streaming and such anyways.

Read the comments, that guy got trolled.
  12. niceone011

Not convinced it was trolling. I read this stuff, and it makes you wonder, taking into account my 1st hand experience of game. Level 10 scoring 60 kills in matter of minutes. Please explain it. Upon questioning it in game, levels 100+ jumping to his defense, and resort to gitgud-ing only. If you are seasoned in fps games, there are sad patterns noticeable. So, "pro" players are trolling away this?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/duplicates/b98411/developer_drew_is_giving_hacks_to_his_friends/ Game developers are annoyed, that this wont go away, and more people will read it... or not? They will ban my account for polite question? And if they do, what that means? :)
  13. ObiVanuKenobi

I don't see how you meeting a random br 10 cheater who probably got banned shortly after supports that story. Exact opposite actually. Why does he need a new character if he bought hax from Daybreak? Wouldn't that give him immunity?
  14. niceone011

Nope, it will give him his distorted sense of fun, cause he got his level 100+ where he is more subtle, sometimes. But I guess you "can not" understand it

Posting no name, no link, just nothing as a proof...

    GOT EEEEEMMM.

Dude, please. No more. Procor got epic trolled and by not recognizing it, you are too. Killin' me smalls, have mercy.
  17. Towie

...trouble is - there's been so many of them lately, people just believe.

I've deliberately not quoted this aimbotting guy to see how long he lasted. I mean - SPM of 1330 seems perfectly normal ? Exactly how they are not caught is beyond me.

    https://www.planetside2.com/players/#!/5428897119223539185/

So far he's had 19 sessions since joining (13th of August) - well over 24 hours of playtime - yet he still plays, night after night.

I've kinda given up to be honest.
  18. niceone011

You are not convincing. And you probably well know truth, just as I do ;) I don't see they would troll their *** into doubt like that .
Again, why are you so blindly resolving any and all game developers of wrongdoing? Whats your stake in that? What do you lose if they are crooked?
  19. ObiVanuKenobi

Why are you so blindly accusing any and all game developers of wrongdoing?

People love making fun of conspiracy theorists.
Daybreak sabotaging their own game by selling cheats is imo as hilarious as flat earthers.
  20. JibbaJabba

Yeah daybreak developers are giving out secret cheats in a plot to make themselves unemployed. Oh do go on.

I don't care if I'm convincing. If you want to support such ludicrous ideas it's YOU that needs to convince. And you better get to it quick because each post makes you look further like a fool just like prokor
